Neeraj Tiwari is making Hindi remake of South film, Film distributor-turned-music producer Neeraj Tiwari, director of Aagaaz Entertainment, comes from a filmy background. Now he is soon going to make a Hindi remake of a South film in a grand way. It is worth noting that he has recently bought the Hindi rights of the Kannada Film Act 1978, Neeraj Tiwari says, "The story of Act 1978 shocked me, it is a very fresh concept. We see a woman as a mother, wife or a sister who is very sweet and caring. But in this film, the woman is in the central role. When the circumstances in her life change and she gets fed up with the corruption in the society, she fights against it in her own way. This story shook me and I bought the rights to this Kannada film. I am sure our Hindi audience will also like this movie Act-1978.
It is worth mentioning that recently when Neeraj Tiwari, CMD of Aagaaz Entertainment celebrated his birthday in a grand manner in Sin city, Mumbai, many eminent faces of the industry attended the celebration. Singer Jan Kumar Sanu, Marathi actor Vijay Patkar, author of films like Super 30, Heropanti, Baaghi, Sanjeev Dutta, Mirzapur, Inside Edge fame actor Amit Syal and director Sachin Karande were present at Neeraj Tiwari's birthday celebrations.
His family has been active in the film and entertainment industry since the 1960s. Carrying on his family legacy, Neeraj Tiwari aims to encourage newcomers through Aagaaz Entertainment. Neeraj Tiwari said, “At present, our production house is working on some comedy and thriller films. We are looking for some realistic and impactful women-centric films. We are working on five films and one web series. If given an opportunity, I would love to work with Anubhav Sinha, Anurag Kashyap and Sriram Raghavan, whose different film making has influenced me."
Talking about the main objective of his company Aagaaz Entertainment, Neeraj Tiwari says, “The main purpose of our production house is to work on quality projects with good content that can make a difference in the society or in the life of an individual. We don't want to compromise with the script and content."
Let us inform that Neeraj Tiwari started his career as a distributor with Rishi Kapoor starrer film Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi, after which he distributed many films like Rajkumar Rao starrer Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. But then he decided to make his presence felt as a music producer. Neeraj's grandfather had also produced some Assamese films. He released several films in Assam including Mohra, Tridev, Saput, Apharan, Shikhar, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Aaparichit, Gupt, Asambhav and Rang De Basanti.
Neeraj Tiwari further revealed that he is going to launch 15 new actors and actresses in his upcoming music videos and films. He wants to produce some new style music videos and films, with some established and some new actors.
