Speaking about the exemplary work done by the Police force, Anupam Kher said, “In a country like Bharat with a population of more than a billion, it becomes tedious to implement and maintain law and order. Hats off to our police force who has always been on their feet to provide their services whenever citizens or the nation needed it. They have worked tirelessly, giving their best since the beginning of the pandemic. From holding curfews, restricting major movement across the state to providing help to those in need, they have been keeping us safe while putting themselves on the line.”
Commenting on the current COVID-19 scenario in Bharat, Senior Police Inspector Pandharinath Shankar Wavhal said, “When I heard that Anupam sir wanted to extend his regards and wanted to come to the police station, I suggested my seniors that sir could perhaps meet the higher-level officers and commissioners. I was told that Anupam sir wanted to meet the staff who have done the actual ground work, who have worked day and night and done multiple shifts during the period of pandemic, they are the real heroes. Anupam sir’s presence today brings us a new sense of encouragement and purpose.”
