Dangal's recent show ‘Aye Mere Humsafar’ witnesses Namish Taneja as Ved Kothari, a boy who is lost in life and tries to explore all possible professions to look for his ultimate finding. One of the professions his character wants to explore is that of a chef.
In a recent scene on the set, Namish was trying to cook something in the kitchen. It so happened that while shooting the cooking scene, the experiment went wrong and Namish burnt his hand severely.
Speaking about the incident, Namish said, “My character of Ved is lost in life and extremely care-free when it comes to taking up responsibilities. He tries to explore different professions, one of which is being a chef. The shot demanded me to cook something in the kitchen wherein I have to accidently burn my hand. However, the cooking experiment went wrong in reality and I actually burnt my hand. The camera was rolling for the shot and the reactions which I gave turned out to be natural as a reaction to the burn. Since there was a doctor available on the set, I was immediately given first aid and asked to rest.”
In spite of burning his hand severely, Namish resumed the shoot. Unaware about the incident, when his mother saw the scene on TV she told him that the reaction was natural and didn’t feel as if he was acting.
