COLORS’ show Choti Sarrdaarni has been enthralling viewers with the gripping and fascinating journey of Meher and Sarabjit. The way Mehar (played by Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia) and Sarab (played by Avinesh Rekhi) have faced all the hurdles in life only to emerge stronger is something that viewers have always pined for. Now, the storyline will take an interesting and dramatic turn as the show takes a 5 year leap. As the storyline progresses,Meher, who is falsely accused and imprisoned for a crime is pregnant and she delivers a baby girl named Seher. The story forward will showcase a new chapter of Meher and Sarabji’s life and their daughter Seher. The talented Kevina Tak has been roped in to play Seher who is a reflection of Meher. Just like her mother, she is a sharp, witty and a fun-loving child who does not shy away from tough challenges.
Talking about her role as Seher, Kevina Tak said, “I am happy to play the role of Seher and very excited to set out on this new journey. Shooting in Kashmir was amazing as we shot at beautiful locations. My character is very interesting and will bring a new twist in the show. I am sure that the audience will love Seher and the new track of our show Choti Sarrdaarni.”
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia who plays Meher, said, “Choti Sarrdaarni is extremely close to the viewers' and our hearts. Avinesh Rekhi who plays Sarabjit said, “With the 5-year leap, both Meher and Sarabjit's lives will take an unexpected yet very exciting turn. Apart from Kevina, child actor Aekam will essay the role of Param while Gaurika Sharma will take on Karan’s role.
