
New Delhi - GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited (GIL) has welcomed French Minister for Economy and Finance Mr Bruno Le Maire and Chairman & CEO of Groupe Airport De Paris (ADP) Mr Augustin De Romanet on an exchange of ideas visit to Bharat. The visit coincides with the 25th year of Indo-French bilateral relations.
The guests were welcomed by GMR Group Chairman, Mr G.M. Rao, along with other business chairmen.
During their visit, the French Minister and the ADP Chairman were briefed about the various technological and sustainability initiatives undertaken by Delhi, Bhagyanagar and New Goa airports.
Mr Maire and Mr Romanet experienced the International and Domestic arrival and departure areas and, the latest upgradation developments of Terminal 1. They also visited the Air Traffic Control building and Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) of the Delhi Airport.
Earlier, Groupe ADP Chairman Mr Romanet also visited the GMR-run Bhagyanagar and Goa airports. He appreciated the expansion work undertaken by Delhi and Bhagyanagar airports. Mr Romanet also appreciated the ambience and architecture of Bharat’s first destination airport, the New Goa Manohar International Airport.
He commended the use of technology and sustainability to create green infrastructure and state-of-the-art passenger experience initiatives at the GMR-run airports. He also applauded the use of technology at the Bhagyanagar Airport to provide a truly global passenger experience.
Speaking on the occasion GMR Group Chairman Mr G.M. The visit also coincides with the third anniversary of GMR Airports’ partnership with Groupe ADP.
