Fragrance layering is the latest trend that’s picked up steam in the world of perfumes and AVON, the global beauty brand, being on the forefront of change and innovation, has roped in acclaimed Hollywood actress Eva Mendes to become the face of its newly launched AVON Eve Duet, the perfect pair of contrasting perfumes.

“AVON has always been at the forefront of innovation and evolution and Eve Duet is a testimony to it. We are happy to associate with a woman like Eva Mendes who exemplifies beauty. She truly represents AVON, a company that for 130 years has proudly stood for beauty, innovation and optimism,” said Swati Jain, Marketing Director, AVON India.

This dual sided fragrance, the first to be launched by any beauty company, empowers women to choose the way they want to smell by creating varied fragrance combinations. While one scent is a sparkling and vibrant floral fruity scent, the other is a captivating sensual scent. Both the perfumes are co-created with Jean-Marc Chaillan, senior perfumer at International Flavours and Fragrance. The perfumes are available in an attractive and innovative bottle that allows women to wear each scent either individually or mix them together to create an infinite number of empowering fragrant combinations.

One half of this unique fragrance is Sensual and has indulgent notes of Pink Peppercorn, Night Blooming Jasmine, Scarlet Rose and Patchouli, whilst the other half, Radiance, offers stimulating notes of Juicy Citrus, Apple, Waterlily and Blonde Woods.

Eva Mendes comments, “It’s really an honour to collaborate with a company that has understood and respected women for so many years. I love being creative and experimenting with different looks based on my mood, so being able to also express myself freely and celebrate my individuality through a perfume is fun. Scents play a big role in my life and I love trying with different combinations of Sensual and Radiant to reflect my different moods.”
