JOHN ABRAHAM’S FAN BOY MOMENT OF THE SETS OF ‘DANCE DEEWANE’

This week COLORS’ Dance Deewane will celebrate Bollywood with its filmy theme. The acts will showcase the journey of Bollywood over the years. While the judges adorned themselves in iconic characters from various Bollywood movies, contestants also took on various avatars. Madhuri Dixit stunned as Anarkali from the popular love saga ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, Tushar Kalia masked himself as Gabbar from the movie Sholay and Shashank Khaitan dressed as Amitabh Bachchan from the movie Hum. Taking the entertainment, a notch higher, industry's well-built and sought after, John Abraham was the special guest who came to promote his movie, “Satyamev Vijayate.”

One act to watch out for was the opening act performed by Siza Roy and Karan Pariyar on the famous song 'Dhak Karne Laga' from the movie Beta . The stage was set ablaze with their performance and the contestants left no stone unturned to match up to the magic created by Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor. Commenting on the performance John said, “This is one of my favourite dance tracks featuring Madhuri ji. The grace with which she performs can never be matched by any actress from the new generation. If Madhuriji is 10/10 then no actress is even 1/10.”

Later when the audience cheered John, encouraging him to dance with Madhuri on the same song, he was caught blushing and was nervous like any other fan would be. They recreated the memorable song and John tried his best to dance like Anil Kapoor. John further added that, “ I was so nervous to dance with her on this song but she is the most beautiful actress that I have danced with since I started my career 15 years back”.

Sources on the set reveal that John was smitten by Madhuri and even more so as she donned Madhubala’s avatar for the Fully Filmy Episode of Dance Deewane.

Don’t’ miss watching Dance Deewane this Saturday at 9:00PM only on COLORS.
