Kiehl’s since 1851, the New York City-based apothecary and creator of fine quality skin and hair care, opened its brand new storedoors in Select City walk on February 28th, 20.
Kiehl’s Select city walk’s new store location brought the spirit of the original New York City-based apothecary to the community in a retail environment which measures 468 sq ft. From ingredient research, formula safety testing to localized store decor – all elements are tailor made to suit the needs of patrons in the local community.
The event was honored by Kiehl’s advocate and Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh. He was present at this celebratory occasion and talked with the media about his journey with Kiehl’s India and his favorites from the brand.
While speaking on the occasion, Jim Sarbh, stated, “My association with the brand has been going strong for quite sometime now. Kiehl’s as a brand has always gained my attention not only because of their skincare products but also for upholding their history of 169 years. Honestly, Kiehl’s India happened to me at a time when I knew I was ready to make a conscious choice in selecting a skincare brand which would help me rejuvenate my skin. I can only say I am elated to be a part of Kiehl’s India and be an extended family to the brand. Now to pick up my favourite products from the brand I don’t need to make an international trip. I have been an avid user of Powerful strength line reducing concentrate; it is one of my essentials in my skincare regime. I congratulate the brand on their 14th store and wish Kiehl’s India all the very best for their future endeavors.”

Upon entering the unique space, visitors were instantly immersed in the company’s long history and eccentric character: hints of the Kiehl’s heritage are everywhere, including photographs of the original New York Flagship, Kiehl’s founding family and company-sponsored adventures. Historic elements surprise and delight visitors, including iconic vintage motorcycle and Kiehl’s famed“Mr. Bones” skeleton. No two Kiehl’s stores are exactly alike, yet each exudes Kiehl’s rich apothecary tradition.
The event saw experts from the Kiehl’s team offering a series of informative sessions. From research, testing to sampling and packaging – the sessions offered a glimpse into the extensive process which goes into making a Kiehl’s product.
