Zee TV has been a trend-setter in shaping television content over the past three decades. Through its varied narratives touching upon a range of subjects close to the hearts of the great Bharatiya middle class, the channel has always endeavored to make its viewers pause and reflect on their mindsets and bring about a positive change in society. Introducing yet another interesting story, Zee TV’s next primetime drama Rishton Ka Manjha explores the intense love story of Diya and Arjun who happen to have very contrasting outlooks towards life. Based in Kolkata, Diya is a Bengali girl bursting with positivity and a never-say-die approach, and she hopes to build a meaningful life for herself and support her middle-class family. On the other hand, Arjun is a wounded soldier of a former Badminton champ who comes from an affluent Marwadi business family. He has given up on life after a scandal jeopardizes his career and even his near and dear ones don’t support him through his most testing times! How Diya shines the light of optimism and reinforces Arjun’s belief in her philosophy – “If all isn’t well, it isn’t the end” forms the crux of the show.

Essaying the role of Diya will be Aanchal Goswami and the show’s male lead Arjun will be played by none other than Krushal Ahuja.

Talking about his character, Krushal said “Bagging a role like this is no less than a dream come true for me. Ever since I took up acting as my profession, I have always looked for an opportunity to work in the Hindi Television industry. So far, I’ve essayed several roles on Bengali TV, but now that I am finally getting the chance to make a debut on Hindi television, it truly feels surreal. Arjun’s character is nothing like what I have essayed so far and its surely going to be a challenging yet an exciting experience, bringing alive his emotions and intense brooding ways. He is a strong character but is buried deep under the emotional baggage he carries until he meets Diya who brings a new ray of hope in his life. Frankly, I believe I couldn’t have got a better character to commence my journey on Hindi television with and I am blessed to be a part of this show. We have just begun shooting for this show, that too on my home turf- Bengal, so I am really looking forward to exploring this wonderful journey. All I can hope for now is to stand up to my audience’s expectations and do justice to Arjun’s role.”

Will Diya be able to shine her torch and show Arjun the way back to hope and positivity with her never-say-die approach towards life?
