Bengaluru - This Shivratri, Bengaluru witnessed thousands of devotes offering their prayers at Shivoham Shiva Temple. The 65 feet tall Shiva Idol was surrounded by thousands of devotes from different parts of South India. The Shivoham Shiva Temple is a unique Shiva temple with the main objective to make people realize the presence of God.


This Maha Shivaratri witnessed lakhs and lakhs of people coming to the temple to pray, and pursue his charm and blessings. With the continuous chanting of Om Namah Shivay by the devotes, made the temple more lively and gave a true spiritual feeling. People performed Abhishek for the Barah Jyotirling and got the opportunity to do Darshan of all the twelve Jyotirlings together and perform Abhishek for all. Live Bhajans, special prayers, pujas, a Maha Yagna, and a congregation of other spiritual activities made the Maha Shivratri celebrations at the temple distinguishing.


Commenting on the launch AiR said, “Shivoham means I am Shiva, You are Shiva. We all are Shiva! Our main objective from the beginning was to make people realize that God lives within us. Our heart is the temple of God. And we have succeeded in doing that. On the auspicious day of Shivratri, We have seen people coming from different parts to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. We believe to spread the faith more in future.”
