NSS DEPARTMENT OF SIDDHANT COLLEGE OF PHARMACY SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED VARIOUS ACTIVITIES UNDER THE NATIONWIDE CAMPAIGN “HAR GHAR TIRANGA” AND SWACHHATA ABHIYAN

Siddhant Group of Institutions - National Service Scheme (NSS) Department of Siddhant College of Pharmacy, Sudumbare successfully organized various activities under the nationwide campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga” under the circular of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The event was held for three days in which 100 NSS volunteers, students and staff participated enthusiastically. Flag hoisting ceremony at Sudumbare Gram Panchayat on 13th August 2025.

Swachhata Abhiyan was conducted in Sudumbare village and Siddhant Group of Institutions (SGI) campus on 14th August 2025. On 15th August 2025, volunteers actively participated in the flag holding activity and uploaded the photos on the official My Bharat portal to receive certificates from Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. The aim of these activities was to inculcate the spirit of patriotism, promote cleanliness and encourage youth participation in nation building. The program was successfully coordinated and conducted under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Ms. Swati Kale. NSS volunteer Mr. Suraj Gund, Mr. Amit Salunkhe, Ms. Shravani Hingankar, Ms. Shravani Ingwale, Ms. Khushi Rathore took initiative to organize this event. This activity was initiated by Ms. Swati Kale and Ms. Shweta Mantri.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Swati Kale and Ms. Shweta Mantri said that “We are thankful to our dear Honorable Vice President Mr. Mihir Yadav Sir, Mrs. Shanan Yadav Madam (Director of SCOP), our Principal Dr. Swati Deshmukh Maalam for their encouragement and guidance. We are also thankful to Diploma Principal Ms. Vanita Gade and Registrar Mr. Navnath Gade for their support.

The management of Siddhant College of Pharmacy appreciated the efforts of NSS department and congratulated all the volunteers for their active participation in this national campaign.
