Superstar Actress Tamannaah Bhatia and National Award-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar were welcomed by thousands of adoring students of Pillai College in Navi Mumbai as they showcased their movie ‘Babli Bouncer’ that was released on Disney+ Hotstar.
The event was a huge hit and featured students dancing to the tunes of Babli Dancer while wearing Bouncer outfits to go with the theme of the movie. Tamannah was so appreciative of the performances that she couldn't resist joining in on all the fun and shook a leg with the students herself.
A talk show featuring Tamannah and Madhur Bhandarkar also took place where they were quizzed by Pillai students on various aspects of the film as well their careers. The students enjoyed Tamannah giving dialogue of the film in the Haryana accent that she portrayed in the movie.
The event ended with a bang as both stars unveiled a huge banner depicting the theme ‘Carnival of Wonders’ of Pillai College’s grand festival Alegria which will be celebrating its 10th year early next year. Alegria which means Joy in Spanish is now one of India’s biggest college festivals with more than 150 student-centric events on offer. It witnesses huge crowds year after year for its larger-than-life concerts featuring stars such as Yo Yo Honey Singh, Guru Randhawa, Aayushmann Khurrana, Armaan Malik, and Shekhar to name a few.
With such a grand opening we are sure that the 10th year of the festival of joy will have the city of Navi Mumbai in raptures when it comes around in February 2023.
