Tanya Sharma, best known for her role as Meera in Saath Nibhana Saathiya will be seen essaying the role of a troubled teenager in the upcoming episode of 'Aye Zindagi', a show produced by BBC Worldwide India. The show, hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani airs every Thursday on Zing.
The episode traces the journey of a teenager, portrayed by Tanya, whose love turns into obsession, disrupting the lives of many around her in that process. The actress has wrapped up shooting for the show and her episode will air this Thursday, 11th May at 7 p.m.
The show is centred around the theme of the mistakes youth make and aims to tell them that these mistakes are not the end of them; there’s always a second chance and the choice is theirs to make.
Talking about the role, Tanya said, "I took on this role because it was in stark contrast to all my roles in the past and I loved the challenge. I hope people connect to my character and most importantly, learn from it."
