The country’s most loved festival is here in all its fervour and spreading the joy of the festivities, COLORS’ Shakti...Astitva ke Ehsaas ki is celebrating Ganesh Utsav on the pretext of the hospital (where Harman-Soumya are being treated for their memory loss decide) raising money for charity.
Oozing oomph and adding pizzazz to the sequence will be the glamorous Ankita Lokhande, Mouni Roy and Gauahar Khan who promise to enrapture the audiences with their sizzling performances. Even with minimal rehearsals, the ladies managed to perform to beautiful routines that are sure to get the viewers grooving alongside these gorgeous actresses.
Talking about her performance on the hit song ‘Ram Chahe Leela’ Mouni Roy, who was dressed in a sexy red outfit, commented, “I absolutely love dancing. I feel like a beginner every time I go on stage to perform, I still get nervous but the sheer thrill of performing is something which I can never get enough off”. The actress also excitedly stated, “Shakti is definitely a revolutionary show. I am glad that we have a show on COLORS which focuses on an issue that was so important to address. I am very sure that it will be remembered for a long time to come.”
Gauahar Khan, looking stunning in a shimmering white lehenga-choli commented on her long-lasting association with COLORS and said, “COLORS is like home to me, the channel has more of an emotional value in my heart than a professional one. Dance is my mode of happiness and when I was approached for this opportunity, there was no thinking twice about it. I had an amazing time performing on ‘Twist Kamariya’ and ‘Jhalla’, my two most favourite bollywood songs. On the occasion of Ganesh Utsav the actress said, “ It’s an amazing time of the year, everyone meets their families and friends, however it’s crucial to celebrate the festival in an eco-friendly way and make the most of it. Kudos to the whole team of COLORS and Shakti for portraying such a strong narrative.”
Ankita Lokhande who gave a power-packed performance on ‘Nagada sang Dhol Baje’ said, “Dancing for Ganpati -bappa after such a long time felt so good, it made me quite nostalgic. Dance is ingrained in me and is a very important part of my life. I was happy to also have met and spent time with Vivian and Rubina who are close friends of mine and it made this celebration so much more fun. This was my first stint with COLORS and I must say, I had a rather memorable experience.”
