Hailing from Bareilly, Priya Singh is a simple, happy go lucky girl who works in Mumbai. She believes in family values and dotes on her parents and siblings. Priya always dreamt of getting married in a grand way to the love of her life Sunny Singh. Sunny is originally from Uttarakhand and runs a business. Priya and Sunny first connected on Facebook and over time, their WhatsApp chats and videocalls led to the two falling hopelessly in love with each other. But they had to convince their respective parents as they belong to different castes. Having lived apart for 7 years, Priya and Sunny kept their beautiful relationship alive in spite of several setbacks.
Priya shared, “Zee TV has always been an integral part of our families and we are ardent fans of KumKum Bhagya. Abhi-Pragya are not just on-screen characters for us. We closely identify with their journey of emotions. It has been our dream to invite them to our wedding. We knew that this will never materialise as the idea was far-fetched, aisa toh filmon mein hota hai ... but then we thought - hum khud hi kyu apne sapnon par parda daale? So we took a chance and wrote to Zee TV and I’m so glad we did. I am eternally grateful to Zee TV for getting not just Abhi-Pragya but the entire Zee family to be a part of our wedding. It will make the most memorable event of our lives that much more special.”
Actor Sriti Jha said, “For the first time, Zee TV will be getting a real-life couple married on a huge platform and I already feel the excitement. There is no greater happiness than getting lovers married and I am looking forward to partaking in the grand celebrations.” Shabbir Ahluwalia further said, “It is going to be a joyous occasion for all of us as Priya and Sunny will tie the knot in presence of the entire Zee TV family. I am very happy to be supporting the couple and wish them eternal marital bliss.”
Making it the biggest wedding of the year, Zee TV actors will amp up the entertainment quotient and add glamour and fervour to the wedding festivities with their power-packed dance performances and superlative acts.
