During the trailer launch of Amazon Original Series Bandish Bandits, lead actor Shreya Chaudhry admitted that Ritwik Bhowmik was not her first choice as a co-star for Bandish Bandits.
Shreya Chaudhry revealed, “I was rooting for another friend of mine to get the part but when I got to know Ritwik, I realized our ideologies, thinking, concepts and method of working are very similar and we got along as buddies very well in the process of helping each other.”
Both, Ritwik and Shreya will be seen as the lead pair in upcoming Amazon Original Series Bandish Bandits, premiering on August 4 across 200 countries and territories. Starring alongside Ritwik and Shreya are veteran actors Atul Kulkarni, Naseeruddin Shah, Sheeba Chadda, Rajesh Tailang, among others. Produced and created by Amritpal Singh Bindra and directed by Anand Tiwari, the all-new Amazon Original Series is set in Jodhpur and tells the story of two young musicians, hailing from contrasting backgrounds. Bandish Bandits also features an exciting original soundtrack, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who are also making their digital debut with this show.
