At the film's muhurat, all the actors presented a heartwarming scene from the film for those in attendance.

Speaking on the occasion, Hrithik said, "I had played a small role in Vikram's Hrudayantar. I know him as a genuine person and a great director. I am sure Smile Please will leave a smile on the viewers faces. My best wishes to the team." On his part, Vikram added, "This film's subject is close to my heart. I feel the presence of my mother in the story. When I thought of making this film, the people close to me helped a lot and are still helping me. I take this opportunity to thank them whole heartedly. I hope Smile Please makes the audience feel good.". The name of the film clearly suggests that it will about looking positively at life and living it to the fullest. On the muhurat of the film, Ameesha Patel, Zareen Khan, Ronit Roy, Kiara Advani, Shweta Bachchan-Nanda, Manish Paul and many Bollywood and Marathi celebs made their presence felt and showered their best wishes on the team. It is given that like Hrudayantar, Smile Please will be a slice of life cinema to the viewers, whilst keeping the entertainment factor high.
