NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME DEPARTMENT OF SIDDHANT COLLEGE OF PHARMACY ORGANIZED FREE EYE CHECKUP

Siddhant Group Of Institutions - The National Service Scheme (NSS) Department of Siddhant College of Pharmacy, Sudumbare organized a free eye check-up camp in collaboration with Deshpande Eye & Laser Centre, Dehugaon. The camp was held on 14th August 2025 from 10:00 am onwards at SCOP Seminar Hall. The initiative was aimed at promoting health awareness and providing free eye care services to the community. The beneficiaries included drivers, students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and security staff. A total of 104 individuals availed the eye check-up services during the camp.

The camp received an overwhelming response and the participants appreciated the efforts of the NSS Department and the medical team of Deshpande Eye & Laser Centre for their valuable support. The event was successfully organized under the guidance of the Principal, College Management and NSS Programme Officer and reflected the institution's commitment towards community service and social responsibility. The activity was initiated by Ms. Swati Kale and Ms. Shweta Mantri.
