In times such as this, the smallest of gestures leave a great impact. The hospital staff was prompt with everything that was required, Dr. Sumeet Singhania was very understanding about my decision of not telling my mother and his kind words did put my restless mind to ease. While I was at the hospital, I noticed that all the patients along with their family members were treated with the utmost care. I am thankful to Tina and Anil Ambani for going that extra mile and making sure every patient was made to feel at home. ”
Commenting on the current COVID-19 scenario in India, Executive Director and CEO, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Dr. Santosh Shetty said, “Anupam Kher is no doubt a legendary actor and a wonderful writer but the one thing that makes him stand apart from the others in the entertainment field is his involvement in several social causes. He is someone who thinks beyond cinema and theatre and looks at what others are contributing towards the society. I was not at all surprised when he told me that he wanted to meet the medical staff of the hospital because he knows that they are the ones who are true heroes, who have delivered their services with utmost care and kindness”
